As a collector of photographic information, I am attracted to a wide range of subject matter including landscapes, textures, wax figures and statues. The resulting dioramas and still life images represent imaginary realities which may or may not relate to the character of the original subject.

The content of my images evolves from relationships made or discovered while studying individual photographs I have taken over many years. Image similarities and contrasts are identified to convey a story and for formal compositional reasons. The final images are a combination of two or more photographic elements, usually from different sources and different times. My goal is to create a photographic composite with enough information to allow the viewer to interpret for themselves the content or meaning of the completed image.
